This essay was originally published in the proceedings of the Research in Management Learning & Education Unconference held at Bond University in June 2024. The purpose of this essay was to generate thought and discussion around the role of critical pedagogy in business schools where the pursuit of profit is often glorified. It invites fellow educators to interrogate the ways orthodox ideologies of neoliberal capitalism, imperialism, white supremacy, and patriarchy reproduce global inequities, while reflecting on the need for coalition and community, inspiration and healing
