What the paper says
In this article, we propose, fit, and promote an incidence rate restricted Poisson distribution for the gathered number of coronavirus (1) confirmed, (2) cured, and (3) deaths across thirty two India’s states or territories as of May 1, 2020. The restriction on the incidence rate in each of the three categories is quantitatively estimated and interpreted in terms of the attained administrative efficiency of preventive or treatment procedures by the government, using the public domain data in www.mohfw.gov.in webpage. The statistical conclusions based on the data analytic results demonstrate a valuable lesson to be procured to deal with any future pandemic episode.
