Ruth Sessler Bernstein & Paul F. Salipante
What the paper says
The purpose of this article was to guide instructors how to form high performing, diverse student teams using inclusive interaction, socialization, and accountability. The students’ new practices create outcomes that drive behavior changes and learning, such that the teams are successful and the students learn skills applicable in the workforce and beyond. Adapting the Framework for Inclusive Interactions, Equity, and Performance (Bernstein, Salipante, & Weisinger, 2022) we introduce easy to use structured inclusive interaction practices that enable students to learn about diversity, inclusion, and equity by living it in their teams as they work on case analyses and other projects
