What the paper says

The concentration of CO_2 is steadily rising from many sources such as from industrialization, deforestation etc. In this paper, a nonlinear mathematical model is proposed for the control of increasing CO_2 in the atmosphere. It is assumed that environmental tax imposed only when the concentration of CO_2 crosses a limit over which it becomes harmful for the environment. Criteria for local stability and instability of the non-negative equilibrium are obtained. We also obtained the condition for the global stability and the persistence of the system. Finally, we illustrated our results by numerical simulation.
