This study examines the impact of workplace spirituality (WS) on organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB). Additionally, it investigates the association between organisational commitment and OCB, as well as intrinsic work satisfaction and OCB. Empirical data was collected from 436 faculty members of different educational institutions through purposive sampling. A structured questionnaire, modified from previous studies, was used to conduct the survey. Partial least squares structural equation modelling validates the scale and framework. The results indicate that meaningful work, a sense of community, and alignment of values positively and significantly impact WS in the education sector. Moreover, WS positively and substantially affects organisational commitment and intrinsic work satisfaction. Furthermore, organisational commitment and intrinsic work satisfaction also positively and significantly influence OCB. Theoretical contributions of this study include expanding the dimensions of WS and identifying two predictors of OCB in the educational sector under the influence of WS.
