The publisher of the Journal of Organizational Ethnography wishes to retract the following article: Tutar H, Battal F (2025), “Algorithmic management and reflexive ethnography: methodological innovations for practice-theoretical observation”. Journal of Organizational Ethnography, Vol. ahead-of-print No. ahead-of-print. https://doi.org/10.1108/JOE-06-2025-0088. It has come to the attention of the publisher that a significant number of the references cited in this article contain errors or cannot be verified. As a result, the content of the article cannot be relied upon. As part of the investigation, the authors were asked to provide an explanation for these errors on 06/02/2026, but they did not respond to our requests after multiple follow-ups. The decision to retract has been informed by COPE's guidelines on retractions and Emerald's publishing ethics. The publisher sincerely apologizes to the readers.
