Abstract

COVID-19 ensures the appropriate laboratory to analyze the behavior of financial decision-makers and FinTech awareness, with its sphere of influence and extreme measures taken. In this regard, there are two main purposes of this study. The first one is to address the changing financial behaviors of decision-makers with the financial knowledge and risk tolerance during the pandemic in a developing country, Turkey. Also, the second purpose is to reveal the differences between the changing financial behaviors of individuals and the frequency of use of FinTech services and their awareness, which has come to the fore during the pandemic. © 2025 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
