To solve the supply dilemma of “shortage of quantity, insufficient quality, and low retention rate” of grassroots traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) talents, this study focuses on the integration model of “teacher education+modern training,” taking pilot counties and districts in five provinces including Shanxi, Henan, and Yunnan as samples—and empirically exploring its multidimensional impact on the supply of grassroots, TCM talents. The results show that the fusion mode has significant advantages over traditional apprenticeship: the accuracy of talent differentiation has increased by 24.1% to 88.7%, effectively solving the problem of “inaccurate differentiation.” The independent practice time has been shortened by 47.3% to 12.8 months, significantly accelerating the talent growth cycle. This article provides practical solutions for breaking through the bottleneck of talent in grassroots, TCM services.
