The purpose of the present research is to conduct a comprehensive multinational psychometric evaluation of the rational and intuitive decision-making styles (RIDMS) scale across nine culturally heterogeneous national samples.The study involved 1,273 participants drawn from nine countries (Poland = 234, South Korea = 194, Ukraine = 181, India = 131, China = 126, Germany = 100, Portugal = 101, Turkey = 99, and Pakistan = 107).Confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) supported the factorial validity of the RIDMS scale across diverse cultural contexts, with only minor measurement variance observed in some subdimensions.Internal consistency analyses demonstrated acceptable reliability coefficients for all subscales.Independent-samples t-tests revealed no significant gender differences for six of the subdimensions, while significant differences were found for four of them.In addition, cross-country comparisons indicated meaningful variations in decision-making styles across national samples, underscoring the importance of culturally sensitive applications of the RIDMS scale in international research.
