What the paper says

Abstract: In this issue’s teaching entry, the section editors host a roundtable with three experienced teachers of the foundational “advertising and society” course, sometimes also called “advertising and culture” or “promotional culture.” In this conversation, Kyle Asquith of the University of Windsor, Christopher Chávez of the University of Oregon, and Eleftheria Lekakis of the University of Sussex talk with us about their specific curricular contexts, their learning objectives, course readings, assignments, and case studies. We end the discussion with the three asking about each other’s pedagogical strategies for the course. They have also generously provided examples of their syllabi.
