What the paper says

This study examines the influence of entrepreneurial leadership on entrepreneurial performance and value co-creation in the education sector, focusing on Indonesian junior high schools.Addressing a notable gap in the literature, the research investigates the mediating role of value co-creation in the relationship between entrepreneurial leadership and school performance.Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from principals, teachers, and school committees across 350 schools selected through multistage cluster sampling.Covariance-based structural equation modelling (CB-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 was used to evaluate measurement validity, model fit, and structural relationships among variables. The results demonstrate that both entrepreneurial leadership and value co-creation significantly enhance entrepreneurial performance in educational contexts.Theoretically, the study extends the resource-based view, capability theory, and service-dominant logic to school settings.Practically, the findings highlight the importance of promoting entrepreneurial leadership and value co-creation strategies, recommending targeted policies and training programs for policymakers and educational authorities.
