Abstract

In this work, we consider two finite ‐mixture models with resilience‐scale distribution components, and then obtain sufficient conditions to establish some stochastic ordering results between them. The sufficient conditions mainly depend on the weak supermajorization, weak submajorization, chain majorization and reciprocal majorization orders. Some of the findings in this paper improve the results in the literature by extending the range of the parameter Examples are provided to illustrate the ordering outputs. In addition, some counterexamples are presented to show that the established results may not be true if the proposed conditions do not hold.
